Users of the Huawei Pura70 series phones (including Pura70 Pro, Pura70 Pro+, and Pura70 Ultra) are receiving an upgrade to the AI image expansion feature, launched in HarmonyOS version 4.2.0.172. This feature allows intelligent image expansion to fill in blank areas and provide a broader view. Huawei has confirmed that the Pura70 and Pura70 Beidou Satellite Messaging Edition will support this feature by the end of August 2024. AI image expansion is based on advanced AI compositional algorithms and image generation technology.

Microsoft has added a Cocreator button in the Windows 11 Paint application. The Cocreator image generation AI feature is based on OpenAI's DALL-E 3 model, allowing all users to utilize this AI generation technology within Microsoft Paint. By integrating DALL-E 3's text-to-image generation capabilities, Microsoft is bringing this functionality into multiple products.
